‘General Hospital’ Chloe Lanier Moves To ‘Law & Order’
Chloe Lanier will be making an appearance outside of Port Charles soon. She is slated to have a guest stint on the popular crime drama series Law & Order. Keep reading to find out when she will be on the show and if it will impact her role on General Hospital.
The Renewal Of Law & Order For Season 24
Amid NBC cancellations, Law & Order has been one of the lucky few to be renewed for its 24th season. The legal drama series first aired on September 13, 1990. Law & Order, created by Dick Wolf, ran until May 24, 2010.
After 11 years of being off the air, NBC decided to bring the popular American police procedural back. The network announced that Law & Order would return for its 21st season on February 24, 2022.
Fans were thrilled to see the show revived. There were a number of new faces on the cast, but plenty of fan-favorite characters returned as well, including District Attorney Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston) and Detective Kevin Bernard (Anthony Anderson).
Now, fans are preparing for the end of Season 23. If viewers are also soap opera fans, they might recognize a new face on the May 9 episode of Law & Order on NBC.
Chloe Lanier Slated To Appear On Law & Order
Chloe Lanier will be appearing as Chelsea Shell in the upcoming episode titled “No Good Deed.” It also happens to be the show’s 500th episode.

The synopsis of the episode says that Shaw and Riley will investigate the death of a therapist who has a long list of troublesome clientele. At the same time, Baxter is taking over Price’s role after uncovering a connection to a defendant.
Lanier is best known for her role on General Hospital where she plays Nelle Benson. In 2018, she won the Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series.
Chloe Lanier’s upcoming appearance on Law & Order will only add to the soap star’s impressive acting portfolio. Her career kicked off in 2009 when she played the role of Lisa in The Effects of Tragedy. She has also appeared on other shows like Law & Order throughout her acting career.
In 2021, she appeared on one episode of NCIS: Hawai’i. While the NCIS spinoff was well-liked by fans, CBS recently made the decision to cancel the series after three seasons. Chloe Lanier also appeared in one episode of 9-1-1 and Station 19.
Although she will be appearing on the NBC legal drama series, it is not expected to take away from her role on General Hospital. So, GH fans can rest assured it won’t have any impact on their favorite daytime soap.
The episode of Law & Order featuring Chloe Lanier will air on May 9 at 8 p.m. EST on NBC. It will be available to stream on Peacock the following day.
