Luis Ruelas Files $5M Lawsuit Against Ex, Vanessa Reiser
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Luis Ruelas slammed his ex-fiance Vanessa Reiser in a counter lawsuit and he wants $5 million in damages. Teresa Giudice’s husband claims that he lost a lot of business. Additionally, he says a lot of anguish caused him suffering. Allegedly, she leaked personal information to cast members of the Bravo show.
Luis Ruelas’ Ex-Fiance Vanessa Reiser Files First
In June last year, Vanessa Reiser, who used to be engaged to Teresa’s husband filed for a restraining order against him. At the time, the licensed therapist who treats people with narcissistic issues claimed that her ex had hired someone to spy on her. She claimed that a patient went to see her for all the wrong reasons. Additionally, she accused him of “stalking” her.
In October last year, Real Housewives of New Jersey fans heard that Vanessa lost her case. Luis Ruelas celebrated the fact that the court threw out her claims against him. The court decided that Vanessa was “obsessed” with the Bravo star, and her claims were groundless. So, you might have thought that was the end of their feuding. However, new news arrived and it seems far from over.

More Clashing Takes Place
In February this year, more news about the feud surfaced. This time, Luis and his friend who’s a private investigator were accused of trying to hack Vanessa’s computer. The Sun US reported that Bo Dielt and Teresa’s husband faced accusations of harassment and abuse. Anyway, the lawsuit resulted in a counterclaim. It alleged that Johnson Litigation Group and Vanessa seriously damaged the business deals of the Real Housewives of New Jersey star.
Luis Ruelas claimed that the law firm and his ex behaved in an “unlawful way,” and exhibited “egregious misconduct.” The Bravo star believes that they “breached their ethical obligations, slandered” him, and that caused him to suffer “significant harm.” Allegedly, his business suffered. Plus, he claimed information had been leaked to the cast of Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Bravo Star’s Claims For $5 Million In Damages
The outlet noted that the documents in the court case revealed:
Ruelas believed Reiser was disclosing confidential information to patients and cast members of Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ) to use against him and his wife, in an attempt to bolster the colloque of the show and continue the relentless campaign of harassment, despite existing orders precluding this type of conduct.
Season 14 of Real Housewives of New Jersey will premiere on Sunday, May 5, at 8/7c on Bravo. It will be interesting to see what emerges, if anything, about the alleged leaks.
