1000-Lb Sisters Has Followed Several Amazing Transformations
Tammy Slaton has undergone an astounding transformation. Before having gastric bypass surgery in July 2022, Tammy weighed 717 pounds.
She had a significant health scare that made her realize that if she didn’t start taking care of herself, she would end up dead. Since then, she has been 100% committed to her lifestyle change.
It was revealed in February that she was down to about 300 pounds, less than half of her starting weight. The show 1000-Lb Sisters has also documented her sister, Amy Slaton’s weight loss as well as her brother Chris Combs’ transformation.
In between seasons, fans enjoy keeping up with the family on social media. Tammy Slaton seems to enjoy TikTok the most. Many of her videos include trending music that she lip-syncs to. The TLC star also likes to hop on TikTok trends when she can. She showed off her slimmed-down face in a recent video posted to the platform.
Tammy Slaton Shares An Unfiltered Update
The video posted by the TLC star is part of a trend on TikTok. Creators have been posting videos of themselves without a filter and asking their followers if they look their age or not.
In the clip, Tammy Slaton mouths the words “no filter.” On top of the video she wrote, “No filter, I’m 37, be 38 July 27th.”
Fans took to the comment section to let Tammy know how great she looks. “You definitely don’t look your age,” one person wrote. Another chimed in, “Girrllllll you look younger I love you so much.” Multiple others let the 1000-Lb Sisters star know they think she looks beautiful.

The comments from fans are welcome. Tammy Slaton has opened up in the past about how hurtful comments online have hurt her confidence. She often receives comments about fixing her teeth and her loose skin.
She took the time to address some of these comments, stating that she doesn’t have the money to get these things fixed right now. However, it hasn’t stopped her from living her best life.
Recently, the TLC star shared that she checked an item off her bucket list. After losing more than 400 pounds, Tammy finally made it to Disney World for the first time.
Season 6 of 1000-Lb Sisters has not yet been confirmed by the network, but there have been some hints that filming is underway.
