JoJo Siwa Reveals How Mom Stopped Bad Experiences
JoJo Siwa recently revealed how her mom stopped bad experiences from happening to her as a child star. She is best known for her time on Dance Moms, but has also been on other shows like Dancing With The Stars and Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. Since then, JoJo has come out with a new song “Karma” which has resulted in some online bullying. However, it seems that could be the worst thing that has happened to her thanks to her mother, Jessalynn.
JoJo Siwa’s Relationship With Mother
It seems that JoJo Siwa and her mother, Jessalynn Siwa, have always had a good relationship. Her mother spoke out on their relationship in 2021.
“You were like my little sidekick before we were doing work together and TV together, I could take you anywhere, you could go to lunch with me and my friends and you could hang, and then we would go to Target after. We were just friends.”
Doing Dance Moms together made the two grow even closer. They were spending all of their time together and were more so friends. JoJo also revealed that she would never take the money she earned during her time as a child star and leave her family “high and dry” like some do.
How Her Mother Stopped Bad Experiences
JoJo gives thanks to her mother for not letting anything bad happen to her as a child.
“I’m lucky that my bad has not been bad. My bad has been a little bit of bullying on the internet. Compared to people with their parents, people with their creators, people with their financials, people with their bodies being around people they didn’t want them to be around, I have been so lucky and I credit that to my mom, my mom has kept every psychopath out of my life.”
She recognized her time as a star could have been worse when the Nickelodeon documentary came out and she found out how badly some were treated.
It seems that JoJo is grateful for her mother. She never had to go through experiences that other child stars had to go through, and she gives her mom the credit. From the dance show, fans know that Jessalynn will do anything for her daughter and will not allow bad things to happen to her.
