‘SYTYCD’: Makenzie Dustman & Phillip Chbeeb Have Big News
It’s been quite some time since dancers Makenzie Dustman and Phillip Chbeeb competed on So You Think You Can Dance.
Phillip made it to the Top 20 in Season 5 after narrowly missing the mark in Season 3 and 4. Makenzie competed on Season 10 along with Dancing With The Stars performers Alan Bersten, Jenna Johnson, and Hayley Erbert.
Phillip and Makenzie married in 2022 and still dance to this day. But the two are about to embark on a brand new journey together. Keep reading to get the scoop.
SYTYCD Alums Makenzie & Phillip Share A Major Life Update
Fans who follow Makenzie Dustman and Phillip Chbeeb on social media know they still love choreographing and dancing. But now, they’re tackling a brand new adventure.
“BRB MAKING A BABY😭🫂🫀🌀✨” the happy couple captioned their joint Instagram post. “Nothing is bringing us more love & clarity during this time of utter chaos, than the little big love that’s been growing in my belly the past 17 weeks. He’s been grounding us, setting our pace, and giving us purpose like we’ve never known…”
The SYTYCD alums attached a video compilation of their lives over the past few years.
“There is so much more to say, so much more to share…but for now we really need to find a place to live and way to open our business before this little guy gets here LOL🤸🏻♂️ WEEEEEE here we gooooo! #babyboychbeebcomingsoon,” they concluded the post.

The couple received an overwhelming outpour of love and support from Instagram followers, particularly many other SYTYCD alums.
Makenzie Dustman’s SYTYCD Season 10 costar Hayley Erbert wrote, “🥹🥹🥹 I can’t wait to meet baby ‘Beeb 🫶🏼”
Jenna Johnson added, “I AM CRYING!!!!!! Congratulations to you both. The greatest chapter you will ever experience. Cannot wait to watch you become parents. Truly the greatest gift!!!!”

The Dance Competition Goes On With New Judges
Right now, SYTYCD fans can catch new episodes each Monday night at 9 PM Eastern time on Fox. This season, fans got to meet a new panel of judges. DWTS stars Maks Chmerkovskiy and Allison Holker joined the show. Nigel Lythgoe was originally expected to return as a judge, but stepped down after legal allegations against him came out. JoJo Siwa took over his spot after serving as a judge last season.
