‘Golden Bachelor’ Gerry Turner & Theresa Nist Shut Down Rumors
Golden Bachelor stars Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist made a public appearance together amid rumors about their marriage. It was recently revealed that the couple is in a long-distance relationship and that they don’t currently live together. Despite this, it seems like Gerry and Theresa are still going strong. Gerry Turner & Theresa Nist Hit The Red Carpet
On Friday, April 5, the couple was seen at the Hulu on Disney+ celebration. Golden Bachelor and the other series under the Bachelor franchise airs on ABC, owned by Disney.
Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist were all smiles when they hit the red carpet in Los Angeles. The Golden Bachelor himself wore a navy blue suit with a printed tie. Theresa showed off in a leopard-print skirt and ruffled white shirt.
This was their first public outing together since it was revealed that they were living separately. Gerry and Theresa got married back in January, but they still haven’t moved in together. Right now, Gerry is staying at his lake house in Indiana while Theresa stays at her home in New Jersey.
The Golden Bachelor Couple Has No Plans To Move
An insider close to the couple told Us Weekly that the couple doesn’t have any immediate plans to change their way of life yet. Theresa Nist is continuing to work as a senior compliance officer at a financial advisory office on the East Coast. So, she needs to remain in New Jersey for now.
Instead, the pair is working it out as a long-distance relationship for now and have been visiting each other pretty often.
Other factors have stopped the Golden Bachelor couple from moving in together as well. Gerry Turner spoke candidly about the situation last fall.

“One of the things that I think fate played a hand in is the possibility of where we might wind up living. For the last couple of years, when my family gets together, I’ve talked about moving to South Carolina, and it’s an idea I’ve toyed with. And then in conversation with Theresa, a private moment, she’s saying, ‘Well, yeah, my son lives near Charleston in South Carolina,’” he said. “And all of a sudden it’s like, there’s a big problem that is gone. The issue of compromising on where to live and how to reconcile families and all of that is, it’s no longer an issue.”
Theresa has also opened up about the matter, saying that they’d like to eventually buy a larger home so that their children and grandchildren can come stay whenever they want to. She has two children whom she shared with her late husband. Theresa is also a grandmother to six children. Gerry Turner has two kids of his own and two granddaughters.
ABC has announced a Golden Bachelorette that will air later in 2024. However, no further details have been shared at this time.
