Gerry Turner, Theresa Nist Return To TV After Televised Wedding
Millions of Bachelor Nation viewers watched Theresa Nist and Gerry Turner marry on national television in early January 2024. The wedding came just two months after his proposal aired on the Golden Bachelor season finale.
After marrying on TV, the couple seemed to retreat from the public eye. Several of Gerry’s contestants made guest appearances on Joey Graziadei’s season of The Bachelor. Some fans thought it was odd that ABC would recruit rejected constants to give Joey’s final three pieces of advice.
But Theresa Nist and her husband made their triumphant return to television during Season 28’s After The Final Rose special. Gerry Turner shared a photo on social media of a big reunion with some of the women from Golden Bachelor.
“Monday night at Joey’s AFR was the absolute best!! Reuniting with old dear friends and meeting new friends. What could be better than that,” he captioned the photo. The 72-year-old retiree added,” I love being a part of BN.
Fans Worry For Golden Bachelor Couple
Immediately following the Golden Bachelor finale, Gerry and Theresa posted about each other a lot on social media. However, that died down after their wedding, causing some fans to worry about their relationship.
It could have been because they were sick of fighting off trolls. But then the couple revealed that they live in separate homes. Gerry lives in Indiana and Theresa resides in New Jersey. Fans took to Reddit to discuss the married couple’s living arrangements:
- Wow this is wild. Can’t imagine being married and going through all that just to live apart.
- Gerry seemed like a gold digger… maybe she caught a scent. She was willing to quit her job and then realized he had no savings is my guess.
- They didn’t look very happy together at the bachelor finale. I noticed that right away
- I don’t think they have any intentions of actually living together.
- Didn’t she say she was willing to quit her job to be with him? I wonder what changed.
- The only reason they married so quickly is because ABC was going to pay the bill and they wanted to capitalize on the high the show was on.
Proof Gerry Turner & Theresa Nist Are Going Strong
Theresa Nist took to her Instagram to seemingly dispute the rumors about her marriage. She shared a video featuring several Golden Bachelor alums crowded around a table at a restaurant. Not only is romantic rival Leslie Fhima in the video, but so is Theresa’s husband, Gerry Turner.
Third runner-up Faith Martin shared a similar clip and revealed the reason for the reunion. Some of the Golden Bachelor cast were in L.A. to film an upcoming episode of Celebrity Family Feud.
