Many people know Dr. Now for his blunt approach to helping his patients. Oftentimes, he questions their lack of ambition to lose weight. Because of his job and the way he interacts with patients, many people were surprised to see his latest recommendation on social media.

In a clip recently posted to Dr. Now’s Instagram page, he is shown speaking with a woman. Although you can’t hear what they are saying because of music in the background, it is clear the two know each other well.

“I’ve enjoyed Miri’s Persian food and friendship for 24+ years,” he captioned the video. “Countless meals have been shared. Very thankful for the many delightful moments and meals. If you are in Houston you must try Miri’s Kitchen.”

My 600-Lb Life Fans Question His Latest Recommendation

Dr. Now’s followers did not hesitate to let him know how they felt about his latest recommendation.

“She is your enabler,” one follower wrote. “She has been bringing you da food,” another joked.

One fan pointed out that the good doctor has gained weight recently. They wrote, “Dr. Now is gaining weight. Omg no!!!! Why? What happened?”

He followed up the video with a photo of himself and the restaurant owner. My 600-Lb Life fans continued to let him have it in the comments.

“I hope it was high protein low-carb,” wrote a fan. Another commented, “Hope that on da diet.”

While plenty of people poked fun, there were still many fans showing love in the comments and letting Dr. Nowazardan know they appreciated him.
