Jana Kramer Stars In Lifetime’s ‘Gaslit By My Husband: The Morgan Metzer Story’
Jana Kramer is back on Lifetime. This time she is starring in the Ripped From The Headlines movie Gaslit By My Husband: The Morgan Metzer Story. The One Tree Hill alum stars alongside Austin Nichols, as well as her daughter Jolie Rae Caussin in this true-crime movie.
This new Lifetime movie is based on the true story of Morgan Metzer “who survived a brutal attack staged by her ex-husband.”
In addition to this movie, Jana, who has spoken out about domestic abuse, will film a new PSA for Lifetime’s Stop Violence Against Women initiative.

Jana Kramer is starring in the upcoming Lifetime movie Gaslit By My Husband: The Morgan Metzer Story. What is it about? According to The Futon Critic, this movie follows childhood sweethearts Morgan and Rodney Metzer. When Morgan was 21, the couple married. However, tragedy struck when they lost their first child after it was born. But, not long after, the couple has twins.
Unfortunately, things got challenging. Rodney loses his job. Next, they get into debt. Pretty soon, Rodney blames Morgan’s drinking on their family problems. But, she has only had one drink. Yet, Rodney accuses her of pushing him down the stairs. He is so adamant that she believes him. Soon, their problems are compounded as Rodney is diagnosed with cancer.
Not long after Rodney’s diagnosis, a masked intruder breaks into their home and assaults Morgan. Soon after he leaves, Rodney returns home. The police are called, but they soon find holes in Rodney’s story. It turns out that he has been gaslighting Morgan for years.

On Wednesday, Jana Kramer went to Instagram to announce this new Lifetime role and share some exciting news. Her daughter Jolie Rae Caussin will also be starring, as her onscreen daughter Amelia.
