Witney Carson Back To ‘Dancing With The Stars?’
Will Witney Carson ever return to Dancing With The Stars? The 30-year-old was last seen back in Season 31 when she partnered with entertainer Wayne Brady. At the end of the season, she surprised everyone when she announced her pregnancy.
Witney opted to sit out during Season 32 to focus on her family. However, she didn’t completely rule out the possibility of returning to the ballroom someday.
So what can fans expect for DWTS Season 33? Will Witney Carson make her grand return this fall? Keep reading and see what she had to say on the matter.
Witney Carson Yearns For The Ballroom
Professional dancer Witney Carson has loved the sport since she was a little girl. Many fans remember when she competed on So You Think You Can Dance Season 9 and finished in the top 6. After that, it was a quick transition to Dancing With The Stars where she skyrocketed to ballroom fame.
But will she ever return?
“Oh, it always calls my name. I mean, that show lives and breathes in me,” Witney confessed in a recent interview with ET. The mother of two went on to explain that temporarily stepping away was one of the toughest choices she and her husband Carson McAllister had to make.
“Like I said, it’s really hard to give up something that I love so much, but you know, I love my family more. They’re my priority and we had just gotten settled and Leo was in a great preschool and I just did not feel like ripping that away,” she continued. Witney explained she also wanted time to rest and recover after delivering her second son, Jet, in May last year.

However, Witney’s husband Carson supports her dance career and wouldn’t mind if she chose to reenter the competition.
“Carson is very supportive and I think he’s probably more on board with me doing it. I think he kind of knows that it would be really good for my career and good for us and good for our health, so I think he really pushes that a little bit,” Witney added. “So we’ll see, but everything we do, we make decisions together and make sure that it’s right for both of us.”
What Could Possibly Bring The Pro Dancer Back?
For the time being, it seems that Witney is still mulling over her options. However, she previously said she would love to see actress Sarah Hyland join the show. If Sarah signs up for the competition, Witney may just return after all.
