Bachelor fans will see a familiar face on this season of American Idol. The daughter of a well-known Bachelor Nation alum is auditioning. How far do they get? Keep reading for all the details.

American Idol Season 22 Becomes Family Affair

Not all American Idol hopefuls are unknown singers hoping for their big break. Season 22 of the popular reality competition has already featured a few participants with ties to fame. Former NFL player Blake Proehl wowed the judges with his rendition of “In Case You Didn’t Know” by Brett Young.

He has some stiff competition in Emmy Russell. The name might not be familiar, but her face is unmistakable. Emmy is the granddaughter of The First Lady of Country Music, Loretta Lynn. She performed an original song called “Skinny” for the judges.

Both received the coveted Golden Ticket to move on to Hollywood Week. There’s just one more week of auditions left to air, and a contestant with ties to Bachelor Nation hopes to impress Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie. Will she be as unforgettable to them as her father is to Bachelor Nation?

Bachelor Star’s Daughter Faces American Idol Judges

Many former Bachelor stars have gotten married and had kids since their time on the show. Fan favorite Sean Lowe shares three children with his wife – and final rose winner – Catherine Giudici. However, there are two Bachelor contestants that immediately spring to mind regarding their daughters.

The first is Yosef Aborady, who famously told Bachelorette Clare Crawley that her “classless” behavior was unacceptable to his daughter at home. Coincidentally, the other man also has a connection to Clare.

Clare was the runner-up on Juan Pablo Galavis’s season of The Bachelor. Her fierce confrontation with him when he chose Nikki Ferrell over her is one of the most memorable moments in franchise history.

Like Yosef, Juan Pablo had a young daughter at home. His daughter, Camille, was just four when he filmed his season of The Bachelor. Well, she’s all grown up now and ready to make her own path. The 15-year-old is among the hopefuls auditioning on the next episode of American Idol.

And yes, her dad will make an appearance. According to Monsters & Critics, Camille (or Cami) has been silent on social media for months, hinting that she may have gotten a Golden Ticket. But fans will have to tune in to see for themselves.

American Idol airs on ABC on Sundays at 8 PM Eastern.
