In the past, viewers wanted it gone because it seemed very toxic, and Kody and Robyn Brown seemed to have moved toward monogamy. Ahead of Season 18, some TLC fans wanted to see more of the adult kids on the show. Meri wasn’t getting any intimacy, Christine kicked Kody to the curb, and Janelle was rumored to have split from him as well. Some Sister Wives fans even talked about the idea of a Janelle, Christine spinoff. A lot happened during the last season. Now that Garrison Brown has tragically passed away, do fans want to see more of the Brown family?

Shocking Poll On The TLC Show After Garrison Brown Died
Naturally, people wonder about the Season 19 of the show. Janelle already said that filming was ongoing, and there are mixed reports the family was filming during the time that Garrison Brown passed away. On Reddit, an OP ran a poll and so far, it has just over 400 votes, with two days to run. However, many people commented and shared their thoughts.
In the description, The OP said:
Do you think the [Sister Wives] show should continue? Obviously it’s up to the family, but what do fans think?
It seems that most people feel against the idea of continuing the TLC show. So far, the results reveal the following numbers:
- 84- Yes, I hope it continues.
- 247- No, end it with Christine’s wedding.
- 92 – I’m undecided.
Why People Don’t Want to Watch Again
When asked why some people didn’t want to watch the show anymore, responses rolled in. Here are a few of them:
- Obviously, we all like watching it but no, I think it’s time to end it. Especially with Garrison’s death having happened. These people’s grief [does] not need to be put under a microscope.
- They should have ended it before it got this far. I mean, it really hasn’t even been “sister wives” basically from season 2. The show fell apart right away.
- I thought it should have ended with the wedding. I think they should do a spin off w/o K and R, as they have nothing to contribute. They have a regular monogamous life and have had it for at least since they got to flagstaff. I think even a spinoff is milking it some and even watching the OGs will get monotonous after a while. it might even be better to do annual updates specials where are they now? or reliving the past where they do the look back/talk back thing. but this is the perfect time to end it.

I would love to see the family and how they are doing, but not Kody and Sobyn. She would make it about herself and Kody won’t blame everyone but himself.
I would like to see the progression and success of the Sister Wives and children that wish to participate, especially Christine and Janelle. I do NOT care to see Kody and Robin ever. Kody has not been there physically or emotionally for any of his older children. I am tired of listening to the programs where Kody’s narcissistic and selfish are presented at the expense of his entire family. Kody has meted out “conditional” love, when it is only to benefit Kody. Kick him to the curb. I would like to see these wives and children succeed and go on to a healthy, happy life.
I love watching the show. Just can’t stand watching Cody & that thing he is married. would love to see a show with just Jenelle, Christine & Mary. I hope Kody is feeling really bad right now. I blame Garrison’s death on him. He treated his kids by Jenelle & Christine like dirt. my Deepest Sympathy goes out to Jenelle & Christine for the loss of their sin. you all are in my prayers
the show I believe is the reason Garrison killed himself in the first place. I loved watching the show and absolutely hated kody and robin and loved Christine and Janelle. a show with just them would be great.
I loved the show and would love to see the show continue. Very heart broken about Garrison Brown. I feel like the family can heel their differences and continue to at live a great show of real life’s realities.
After Garrisons reference to the show in his final text, I’d say keep it off. They don’t need their life ruined any more. Enough is enough. Say good night, and goodbye.

I wouldn’t mind if the show was based on Christine, Janelle and the kids. Don’t need to see sobbing Robin or spaghetti head Kody who makes everyone sick. He is the reason his son took his life. If he is not cancelled then cancel the whole show.
I so love Christine, Janelle and Meri. I would watch it for sure if Kody and depressing Robin are not on it. Kody wants to blame everything on others and Robin sits back and supports him which only makes him worse because of her approval. My heart goes out to Janelle and her l look ss.

I would Certainly watch the show if Cody and that witch wasn’t on it. they are sickening to watch. They have destroyed everything about the show. then they try to blame everything on the other wives.
Their story should have ended many seasons ago and with Garrison taking his own life is proof of that. It breaks my heart he couldn’t get the help he needed but I’m sure all the kids know that it would have been portrayed to bring more viewers into it and sometimes things need to stay private. Reality tv is fun to watch but look to all of them and what’s happened to the families- it never turns out for the good.
Why keep giving the Brown’s money from TLC? Let them find jobs to pay for lifestyle’s.

No more Kody and Robin ! They have made the show impossible to watch . They don’t have any connection to the rest of the family and Kody claims Robins children as his own while , Ignoring his biological children . They are self serving, rude and obnoxious !
The show needs to end & no spin-offs. The shows had a good run. Three wives are no longer married to the childish controlling jealous jerk Kody. Burn baby burn comes to mind concerning him.
I was thrown a little at the picture from Garrison’s (RIP) service. I think Janelle & HER children should’ve been in the front row, NOT Robin.
