Is Hallmark Mystery Filming ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ 13 Soon?

POstables have been waiting since October 2021 for news on a new Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie 13. These superfans want more from their favorite quartet of stars, Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe, and Geoff Gustafson. Could some new information perhaps shed light that Hallmark is filming a new movie?

There have been some new developments in this fan-favorite franchise. This includes hints from some cast members, a listing in a trade journal, as well as an explanation for the delays from a Hallmark executive.

Is Hallmark Mystery Filming A New Signed, Sealed, Delivered?

POstables have been waiting a long time for a new Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie. After hints that there will be one someday, it looks like that day is on the horizon.

According to the industry magazine Production Weekly, Hallmark is making another movie. On the March 7 alphabetical listing, Signed, Sealed, Delivered 12 is there. However, POstables do know that this would be movie 13.

Although Hallmark Media has yet to announce the production of this movie, it seems very likely that barring illness or any other unforeseen circumstance, they will be filming this movie soon.

But what has taken so long?

Hallmark’s EVP Of Programming Explained Delays In New SSD Movie

Why has it taken so long to get another Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie? It sounds like the delays are out of Hallmark’s control. On Tuesday, the Hallmark Mysteries & More podcast released an in-depth interview with Lisa Hamilton Daly, the EVP of Programming at Hallmark Media. She answered a cornucopia of questions on mysteries. This also included explaining why there is such a delay.

At about 15:15 she explained that it was “logistics” that kept them from making another SSD.

You know, we hear the fans. They email me. Send me letters about some of the older ones and some of that is delayed. Hint hint Signed Sealed Delivered people, by logistics you know. it’s just it’s not on us. It’s literally on the people that produce the shows.

We are often at the mercy of other people bringing something back. Our actors leave, they want to do something different. Our writers are busy so we’re sort of working through trying to get around some of that stuff and sort of see what we can do.

Essentially, the Hallmark executive confirmed that they planned on making another SSD movie, but there were delays beyond their control.

In addition, to the SSD listing, Shifting Gears is also listed in the production periodical. This movie has an SSD reunion of sorts. Firstly, this is Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe’s directorial debut. Next, Kristin Booth is in this movie.

On Monday, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe shared a photo of Kristin on her Instagram. She shared a warm sentiment about having Kristin there as she directed her very first movie. “I can’t believe I got you in my first movie as a director.”

Kristin’s replay was equally wonderful. But, her closing line hinted at another Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie. “See you soon for our next adventure! 😜”

Of course, anyone who follows Lowe would have seen her story that she was prepping to be in front of the camera in her next project. Does this hint mean what POstables are thinking? It certainly sounds like it!
