Jenny McCarthy has spent decades in the limelight from her days on MTV to co-hosting The View. She even had an acting career and was one of the most well-known blonde bombshells in the world. At the same time, Bravo had the Housewives franchise which had taken over television. Fans flocked to see what these rich women from different states would fight and bicker over. At one point, Jenny was actually offered a spot on RHONY thanks to OG cast member, Bethenny Frankel. Frankel was known to help drop names and get ladies recruited for the show prior to her “reality reckoning.”

According to Us Weekly, The Masked Singer panelist was asked to be on RHONY nearly ten years ago. However, she said no and now she is explaining why it was not the right gig for her: “First of all, I don’t have the meanness anymore in my body. I don’t have the money to keep up with the Housewives and I don’t want to be catty. I want to be as positive as possible.” Though being a housewife may not have been her style, she is not completely dismissing the idea of being on another reality show aside from TMS.

Jenny McCarthy is quite curious about The Traitors, which just wrapped up Season 2. “Maybe I’ll check it out. I do like mind games that are somewhat healthy. But just as I’m getting older, I’m trying to surround myself with as positivity as possible.” More so, she does have what it takes to compete as she shares how she navigates The Masked Singer:

“I act like it’s the Olympics and for me it is. Listen, they get to win their own awards. They win singing awards. Ken [Jeong] can win his comedy awards. This is like my escape room award. So they did have a Golden Ear trophy that they implemented into the show for about three seasons, but I won them all. So they took it away.”
