Hannah Brown Dishes On New Novel & ‘Bachelor’ Easter Eggs

Hannah Brown Dishes On New Novel
Former Bachelorette and Dancing With the Stars winner is opening up more about what fans can expect from her upcoming novel. Her second book is very different from her first one. Her first one was real life. This next book is a rom-com.
US Weekly caught up with Hannah to get the scoop. She started by describing her novel saying, “If you could combine The Hangover — that mad dash road trip, we’re on a time clock, we have to find the missing bride — and then Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants — this core four group of girls who are there to support each other and they’re all going on their different journeys — I feel like that is the type of vibe that we have going on in Mistakes We Never Made.”
Hannah is taking the enemies-to-lovers approach to her plot. The main characters are Finn and Emma. They are best friends with the runaway bride. The two have no idea where the bride is and they have to team up even though they do not want to.
The story will be about whether these two can go from enemies to lovers and find the bride.
Hannah was asked if she pulled a Taylor Swift and added some Bachelor Nation Easter eggs in the novel. She said, “I love the Taylor Swift Easter eggs and I tried to add a little of that. I will say there are a [few] Easter eggs in there, but really loosely based on things. I would say this whole book is a book of fiction, and I have not had this experience of Emma and Finn at all, but their feelings and their doubts and the miscommunication between two people, that was definitely inspired by things that I’ve experienced in my life.”
It Was Different Writing This Book
Hannah Brown also shared that writing this novel was very different from her first book which was a memoir about her life. In the first book, Hannah had to dig deep and get personal. This second book is more fun and allows her to be creative.
She thinks people can really connect with the characters which is important to her. Hannah wants everyone to be captivated by the book.
