Kathy Swarts didn’t get very far in her quest to win Gerry Turner’s love on the first Golden Bachelor season. After butting heads with Theresa Nist, Kathy was sent home in Week 4. Gerry proposed to Theresa during the season finale, and they wed two months later in a televised ceremony.
Surprisingly, Kathy Swarts not only attended the Golden Wedding, she was one of the pre-show hosts. Despite their disagreement on the show, Kathy and Theresa buried the hatchet and became friends.
They both attended a recent get-together with other Golden Bachelor contestants. They joined Joan Vassos, Nancy Hulkower, Christina Kempton, and Susan Noles for a day out at a winery. Ladies only! Gerry Turner wasn’t invited to the mini-reunion.

It isn’t a good week for Bachelor Nation stars. Days after Blake Moynes broke his hip riding a bike, Kathy Swarts revealed a painful injury of her own.
She took to her Instagram to share a video about her mishap. Filming her foot in an ace bandage, Kathy Swarts revealed she would be in a walking boot for over a month due to the injury she sustained to her foot.
One fan jokingly asked if Susan Noles pushed her again. What really happened to Kathy’s foot? She replied to a comment explaining, “My Achilles met a piece of glass and the glass won.”
Despite being laid up with an injury, Kathy Swarts looked on the bright side. “Keep on keeping on! This too shall heal,” she captioned the social media post. She also joked in the video about needing a pedicure to fix the nail polish on her big toe.
