Nick Viall & Fiance Party At Coachella Before Wedding
Nick Viall met Natalie Joy through an Instagram DM exchange after failing to find love in the Bachelor franchise. He appeared on The Bachelorette, Bachelor In Paradise and The Bachelor. The couple fell in love over the course of several months of dating and announced their engagement in January 2023.
Natalie and Nick welcomed a daughter, River Rose, in February 2024, but decided not to postpone their previously planned wedding.
As the wedding day approached, Nick and Natalie went to the popular Coachella music festival in California. They brought along their newborn daughter and Natalie’s mother for childcare.
While other Bachelor Nation alums are attending the Stagecoach festival this weekend, Nick and Natalie have more important plans: their wedding.
Cowboy-Themed Welcome Party Kicked Off Festivities
The Bachelor alum and his fiance kicked off the wedding celebration on Friday, April 26, with a “country chic” welcoming party. The couple’s family and friends attended the party in Natalie’s home state of Georgia.
The wedding location played a part in deciding the theme of the event. “I figured since we’re in Georgia, it would be fun to really lean in and kind of have cowboys and cowboy hats and boots and kind of just have the animals roaming around,” Natalie Joy told PEOPLE magazine.
The couple previously revealed that their 3-month-old daughter would play a role in the wedding, and she was the star of the welcoming party.
According to PEOPLE, the welcoming party also featured country music, barbecue, and cornhole, and a mechanical bull.
A slew of Bachelor Nations stars were expected to attend the ceremony. BIP alum Victoria Fuller was previously announced as the co-maid of honor alongside a childhood friend of Natalie’s.
Bachelor Alum Marries Natalie Joy
The actual wedding ceremony took place on Saturday, April 27, on her family’s farm in Georgia. PEOPLE magazine spilled all the details on the ‘ethereal’ wedding.
The day kicked off with the guests transporting to the farm in “vintage trolley tour busses” stocked with alcohol. The ceremony itself began with Natalie Joy’s grandfather coming in to a “string quartet playing “Canon in D” by Brooklyn Duo.”
The couple’s parents and wedding officiants followed. The outlet reported that Nick Viall took his spot at the altar in a Hugo Boss tuxedo to Peter Gabriel’s “In Your Eyes.”
Natalie Joy walked down the aisle holding the couple’s three-month-old daughter River Rose. PEOPLE reported that the baby was wearing a white dress and matching bonnet.
As for Natalie Joy, she was wearing a “custom dress designed by Macye Wysner of Cinq. She paired the gown with Manolo Blahnik heels and Verstolo jewelry.”
The wedding sounds beautiful, but it seems fans will have to wait for Nick or Natalie to post photos on their social media.
