TLC Fans Slam Joy-Anna Duggar Slammed For Invasion Of Privacy
Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth wants her Counting On fans to know her as a person, a mom, a wife, and not as just another Duggar clan person. However, her efforts backfire sometimes, as TLC fans think she’s been too invasive with her kids’ privacy, like Gunner’s recent blowout.

This weekend, Austin and his wife purchased a car. Not a nice new one, but an old wreck. She explained that they buy them, fix them up, drive them for a bit, and then sell them. Actually, it sounds a bit like the way they buy houses and flip them on. However, she took criticism from Counting On fans because old cars might put the family in danger. In the same video, she also spoke about Gunner’s blowout.
Joy-Anna Duggar has been accused of revealing too much personal stuff about the kids in the past. For example, in September last year, she shared a photo of her barefoot daughter Evelyn in a public restroom. But worse than that, she did a whole video on the kid’s constipation and the visit to the hospital. That came in August last year, and TLC fans wonder why she seems so obsessed with toilet problems.
Gunner Has A Blowout
In the video on YouTube this weekend, Counting On fans heard that everyone had a bad night because Gunner the baby woke up very early. They talked about the car for a bit, then returned to the house. Joy mentioned that Gunner had a blowout at 4:00 AM and she changed his diaper. Too much information came up when she explained that the poop went all “up his back.” As the story of poop was broken into two parts, it seems she changed him early, but then he blew out again.
On Reddit, many TLC fans decided that Joy-Anna Duggar should stop with the poop content. After all, her children will grow up and see these incidents all over the internet. The OP noted:
…what happened was they woke up and immediately did the car video. In that video they say Gunner had done a blow out and how bad it smells and how the poop is up his back. Joy mentioned it was odd since she changed him at 4 am.
Critics Flood The Comments
Joy-Anna Duggar found TLC critics in the comments because while it might be relatable to other moms, it’s not great for the children to have no privacy.
- There was one vlog last year where their daughter is potty training and not only does Austin go on a 3 minute rant to the camera about “how bad it smells” and “if you had smell-o-vision you’d know how bad it is” after his mother yelled “she’s got poop” across the crowded Olive Garden.
- JFC, this cr-p is what annoys me most about parents and grandparents of young children. I DON’T want to hear about your child’s diaper changes and issues…How disgusting, and in this case, they are sharing it with the world…
- It was basically shaming the poor kid for it. They are beyond knowing what privacy is at this point.
- I think Joy-Anna is exploiting her children by posting videos of…things about them that should be kept private.
