Derek Hough Reschedules Canceled Tour After Wife’s Surgery
Dancing With The Stars judge Derek Hough plans to be back on the road in the near future.
After his wife Hayley suffered a medical emergency in December, Derek postponed the remainder of his Symphony of Dance tour. He placed Hayley’s health above all else and cared for her as she underwent two skull surgeries.
So when can fans expect to see Derek Hough and his tour perform in their own city? Keep reading to get the scoop.
Derek Hough confirms his tour will continue
As soon as Derek Hough made the executive decision to postpone the tour, the website went dark. When fans visited the website, they found a notice informing the reader of Hayley Erbert Hough’s medical emergency and Derek’s decision to cancel the show.
But now, it seems that Derek chose to revive the tour and get back on the road.
As per Derek Hough’s website, tickets sales resumed and canceled shows have new dates.
“All tickets previously purchased for the original dates will remain valid for the rescheduled shows,” a notice on the website now reads. “Presales for new dates and on sales for rescheduled dates start 12pm local time on February 14, with general on sale for the new dates in most markets following on Friday, February 16, at 10am local at www.derekhough.com. VIP packages are also available giving fans the chance to purchase premium tickets, including pre-show parties and meet and greet opportunities.”
The website also lists the rescheduled tour dates, as well as several new shows Derek added.
It’s not immediately clear if Hayley will rejoin her husband on the tour. Although she seems to be in much better spirits and good health these days, she hasn’t spoken about her future with dance.
Hayley Erbert Hough returns to social media
Up until recently, Hayley and Derek hadn’t shared much about her health and wellness over the past month. Two skull surgeries definitely take a lot out of a person. But the good news is that Hayley is feeling much better now.
About a week ago, Derek and Hayley shared a new update on social media.
“Just wanted to update you guys and send you all so much love ♥️” Hayley captioned the post. She and her husband provided an update and thanked everyone for their positive vibes and well wishes during the darkest chapter of their lives.

Although the Symphony of Dance tour didn’t quite go according to plan, fans are grateful Hayley is in much better shape today.
