‘AGT’ Sofia Vergara Welcomes New Baby To Family
Sofia Vergara has taken a moment to introduce a new family member to her followers. The America’s Got Talent judge shocked fans when she announced the latest addition to her family. Sofia Introduces The ‘New Vergara’ To Followers
On Thursday, Sofia Vergara shared a photo of Alfonso Vergara holding a little bundle of joy. It is not clear how Alfonso and Sofia are related, but they have been photographed together a number of times over the last several years. The 51-year-old AGT judge captioned the photo, “New Vergara” along with a celebration emoji and a red heart.

The Griselda star has one child of her own. She shares Manolo, 32, with her ex-husband Joe Gonzalez. The pair were only married from 1991 to 1993. Sofia Vergara did not share any children with Joe Manganiello after their eight-year marriage ended last year.
According to the court documents, the reasons listed for Sofia’s 2023 divorce were irreconcilable differences. There was a prenuptial agreement signed prior to the couple tying the knot and both individuals will keep all of the assets earned during the span of the relationship. That means Sofia’s astounding $180 million net worth won’t be touched.
Why Joe Manganiello And Sofia Vergara Split
Rumor has it that children may be the reason behind the couple’s split. Apparently, Joe Manganiello wanted children and Sofia Vergara is not interested in becoming a new mother at 51 years old. The U.S. Sun also discovered that Sofia’s party animal spirit might be another reason for her separation from Joe.
The True Blood star revealed that it was hard to be around his wife when she went out to party in Los Angeles or held cocktail parties in their home. Joe battled an addiction to alcohol in his early 20s and being around temptation constantly was exhausting for him. After the COVID-19 pandemic hit, they started to drift apart even more.
A source close to Sofia Vergara said she has been living as a single woman over the last several months. “Sofia and Joe had a good run and managed to last longer than some within her friend circle suspected. One factor was absolutely their differing take on partying and enjoying a cocktail,” the source shared.
Even though Joe did not want to be around alcohol and didn’t enjoy the party scene, he still encouraged Sofia to live her best life. “People around Sofia noted that they were increasingly not together and she was on her own a lot,” the inside source told The U.S. Sun.
Now, Sofia Vergara is living life on her own again and celebrating new additions to her family.
