Sofia Vergara Claps Back At Kelly Clarkson For Careless Remark
During Wednesday’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Sofia Vergara claps back at Kelly Clarkson after a careless remark she made while interviewing her. Although the show was featuring Sofia with the release of her new show Griselda on Netflix, Kelly pops off and gets a snap back from Sofia.
Sofia Vergara Is Making New Strides
Although the interview with Sofia Vergara was seemingly going well, it hit a crossroads when the host of The Kelly Clarkson Show veered off course. But Sofia was quick to slap it back into place with a sharp comeback. While Sofia has made a name for herself with Modern Family and America’s Got Talent, Netflix’s new original series, Griselda, is hitting screens like a force. Undoubtedly, the new show brings out a different side of Sofia’s acting skills. In like fashion, she is made up to be a fierce and powerful drug dealer who is known for intimidating most who cross her path.
Kelly Clarkson Fumbles But Sofia Vergara Claps Back
When Kelly Clarkson began to discuss the long-awaited topic of Griselda, she nonchalantly implied that the makeup artist only slightly changed Sofia Vergara’s appearance to create the violent crime lord she transformed into. Seemingly, Kelly off handly is searching for the right words and says, “I feel like they only changed your nose or something.” To which Sofia erupts, “What?” Continuing to fumble a bit, Kelly somewhat aloof says, “I don’t know what they did.” Then Sofia sharply replies seemingly offended by the implication, “Are you crazy?” But Kelly tries to clarify, “Whatever they did, it looks slight.” Emphatically, Sofia claps back at Kelly’s careless remark saying, “No, Kelly, it was hours!”
Kelly Clarkson Keeps Digging Herself Deeper
Although unintentional, Kelly Clarkson continues to stumble through what she is trying to say. But Sofia Vergara is having a hard time getting past the oversimplification that Kelly alludes to. Seemingly trying to get her point across, Kelly attempts again saying, “It probably took time.” Sofia interrupts Kelly saying, “Be jealous!” Then Kelly adds, “The slight change completely changed your being.”
However, Sofia is still showing slight agitation and gives more details about the process of becoming Griselda Blanco. She says, “Shut up!” Then says, “It was a wig! It was a lot!” still trying to reiterate the countless hours the process took. She adds, “They did a lot to me. It was teeth.” Repeating with insistence, “It was teeth. It was nose.” And elaborating on the difficulty she went through, Sofia says, “It was plastic from here to here, ” motioning to show Kelly the area of application. But Kelly was struggling to say the hard work was seemingly so natural it didn’t look like makeup at all.
