The move had its share of critics, but others embraced Katie Thurston and her s*x positive attitude. In fact, she parlayed reality fame into several endorsement deals.
Katie Thurston didn’t find love with Matt James. She’s had several high-profile romances since then, including her short-lived engagement to her Bachelorette winner Blake Moynes.

Did the stunt that got her attention on The Bachelor backfire all these years later? Katie took to social media to vent about being dropped by a brand because of her “d*ldo girl” label.
She compared brands like Disney, Warner Brothers, and ABC embracing her in 2021 to losing an endorsement deal in 2024 after an unnamed brand found out about her past Bachelor appearance.
The video ended up being the topic of a Reddit thread. One Bachelor Nation fan expressed doubt about Katie Thurston’s story.
“I don’t believe her. This is rage-bait to drive up content. I’m convinced 95% of things like this posted by all influencers is a lie, created solely to drive up content,” they wrote.

Katie Thurston Downsizing
After appearing on The Bachelorette, Katie Thurston moved from Washington state to San Diego, California. Now the aspiring comic is on the move again.
She took to her Instagram Story to share a milestone in the move to Los Angeles. Katie posted a photo of a gorgeous blue rug, noting that there used to be a table. She revealed that she was downsizing ahead of her relocation.
