Erin Sossamon Is Looking To Start A Family
Erin Sossamon has quickly become a fan favorite after just one episode. She mutually matched with farmer Ty Ferrell and was grouped along with the other women from the Austin, Texas area. However, she is from Georgetown, Texas. While there are farmers local to Erin in Georgetown, she said she feels like she has always dated in the city.

Her local Fox News station sat down with Erin to get to know more about her and what brought her to Farmer Wants A Wife. The 31-year-old event planner said that she is excited about the possibility of finding “her person” on the show.
She was asked what got her interested in appearing on Farmer Wants A Wife. Erin replied that she watched the first season and, “I thought it was very genuine and real.”
“I’m just looking to settle down, and find my person and start a family,” Erin shared about her hopes for her time on the popular dating show. After a round of speed dating, Erin was one of the lucky ladies that Ty would bring home to the farm.
Erin Talks About What Farmer Wants A Wife Is Like
“I really like this season,” she shared with Fox News. “I think all the farmers are super genuine and down to earth, and it’s just fun watching some city girls handle life on the farm.”
To ensure each of the women is a good match or not, they each have to help the men work on the farm. Erin pointed out that it involves a lot of hard work and outdoor chores, something she’s not used to doing. In some cases, some drama unfolds and arguments happen. However, Erin Sossamon thinks that those sacrifices are worth it if she finds true love.

“We’re giving up part of our lives to go see if we can find love with this farmer,” she said. “I think if you really care about someone, you’re willing to change your life. It was definitely challenging and different, but you never know what the future holds.”
Right now, it is still unknown whether or not Erin will earn the title of “farmer’s wife.” Viewers will have to stay tuned to find out.
