Harry Jowsey Has Jitters Ahead Of ‘DWTS’ 2024 Tour
Dancing With The Stars Season 32 contestant Harry Jowsey is about to put his ballroom shoes back on.
Season 32 wrapped up back in December. Since then, Harry Jowsey has spent plenty of time with his castmates, appeared on podcasts, and even went on vacation with Lele Pons and her husband. But now, he’s preparing for his run on the upcoming tour.
Just as Harry admitted to having jitters about competing on DWTS, he’s nervous about performing on tour too. Keep reading and see what he had to say.
Harry Jowsey has cold feet ahead of the Dancing With The Stars tour
The Dancing With The Stars 2024 Tour features many celebrity contestants in addition to the pro dancers. Netflix’s Harry Jowsey is expected to perform from February 20 to March 26. While it’s certainly an exciting opportunity, Harry recently admitted he’s feeling horribly nervous about the situation.
The Too Hot To Handle star recently appeared on Lightweights to discuss his run on Dancing With The Stars and the upcoming performances.
The Netflix star reflected on Billy Porter’s infamous “tree trunk” dig at him during Whitney Houston Night.
“Mandy Moore is doing the whole tour, like she’s choreographing it and I was like, ‘Yeah I could just be a tree trunk in the back,’” Harry said in the podcast interview. “Like I know I can’t dance.”
If it were up to him, he would just go along for the right and have minimal involvement on the stage.
“I’m like, ‘Guys. Can I be in the crowd and watch the show?’ But apparently I have to be in it,” Harry also joked with PEOPLE in a recent interview. “I’m kind of dreading when they ask me to rehearse, but I’m sure it won’t be that long, but I’m sure I’ll just have to walk out and be like, ‘Hey guys, I’m a tree trunk. Goodbye.’”
The Netflix star can’t wait to connect with his fans
Dancing for sold-out theaters is going to be a little scary, but Harry is excited to reunite with the Season 32 cast and meet fans. Although Harry and his partner Rylee Arnold consistently had low scores, voters kept them in the competition for a very long time.
“I think I’m more excited to meet the people that watch the show. Like, I love all the dancers and I love spending time with them… but the main reason was there’s gonna be all these people that watch the show that I’ve never met before. And I just wanna meet as many people as I can and also travel to random cities that I’ve never been to,” Harry said in the Lightweights interview.
