Season 8 of Below Deck Med looked like a chaotic and crazy time for Captain Sandy Yawn, and Kyle Viljoen was in the thick of it. However, fans hoping he would leave heard what they probably think is good news. Kyle is leaving the Bravo show, and his former captain reacted in the comments of his social media post.
Kyle Viljoen Returned – Below Deck Med Fans Wanted Him Fired
After the controversial character made a meal of being off work in Season 7 with his injured ankle, Bravo fans decided he seemed very lazy. So, they expected that he would be fired. Not many people cheered when he appeared in Season 8. He fell sick and again, people wondered if it was genuine. Actually, it turned out to be a terrible sickness.
Kyle Viljoen talked about how painful it was. His mental health wasn’t in a good place, but he was working on himself. That came after fans saw him clash with Tumi Mhlongo, and he seemed to be the root cause of Natalya Scudder leaving The Mustique. However, it seemed that Below Deck Med’s Captain Yawn gave him a lot of leeway.

Captain Sandy Yawn Reacts After Long Leaving Post
Taking to Instagram this week, the troubled Below Beck Med crew member shared a long caption about leaving the Bravo show.
t’s a wrap for me🎬…I was going to write a soppy story (As you know) BUT l am living unapologetically me! I have been tested in ways that has only made me more unique, aware, resilient and skilled! I want to thank each and every one of you for your love for @belowdeckbravo and all things @bravotv. I have had a very interesting season, from love and heart to death threats and beyond…However what was consistent throughout my Below Deck journey was AUTHENTICITY!
