It was a big blow for Taylor Ann Green when her two-year-long relationship with Shep Rose fell apart. He had cheated on her and that was something they could not come back from. At the same time, they still slept in the same bed occasionally. Plus, Shep got really jealous when he learned that Taylor had sleepovers with Austen Kroll. It was presumed that they hooked up but they both denied this happened. Of course, it came out that they had kissed and both Olivia Flowers and Shep were not happy. At the Southern Charm reunion, Shep confessed he had a problem with drinking.
It also seemed like he had remorse about letting Taylor go especially since she had a new boyfriend, Gaston. Now, fans of the show have started a Reddit thread as they believe Shep only wants Taylor when she is unavailable. The OP wrote this:
- Shep wants what he can’t have. I honestly fell for everything he said at the reunion, I was like “man, he really misses Taylor, he realizes what he let go. I hope they end up together.” But after thought, like absolutely not. He is playing MIND GAMES with her now.
They added that he is more upset over the fact that he does not have her to call upon if he needs her especially since she is not single. So, did fellow Redditors agree that he wants what he cannot have?
