‘DWTS’ Britt Stewart Describes Love For Daniel Durant In Full ASL
Dancing With The Stars fans watched pro dancer Britt Stewart and her celebrity partner Daniel Durant build a strong relationship during their run on Season 31. They came in 5th place out of 15 couples but left with something greater than a trophy.
After leaving the show, they realized they wanted to continue their friendship and eventually fell in love. Daniel proposed on Christmas Day in 2023 and now they’re planning their future together.
When Britt learned her celebrity partner for Season 31 was deaf, she immediately started learning ASL. Now, she’s fluent and can describe her love for Daniel in his language.

Right now, many DWTS fans are excited to see Daniel Durant sign the National Anthem during the Super Bowl in a few weeks. But in the meantime, many are getting emotional over a new interview with The Daily Moth.
“This interview is SUPER cute and sweet, actually made me tear up a couple times. And the interviewer is the ever fabulous Renca, who I know a lot of folks came to love during her recaps when Daniel was on the show,” a Redditor shared. “Heads up for folks who might get thrown off: The Daily Moth is a channel for and by Deaf people, so there’s no sound in the video at all and though you can see Britt talking, you won’t hear her. I know a few folks got a little taken aback by that. But it’s all captioned!”
Other DWTS fans went wild for the interview. They loved having the chance to see Britt and Daniel describe their love for one another in ASL.
When asked how she responded to questions about marrying a deaf person, Britt replied, “For me, Daniel is just Daniel. He is an amazing man that I love. That’s it. He’s just a man that I need to learn and educate myself about his culture and his community. He does the same with my Black community and culture.”

So far, neither Britt nor Daniel have publicly shared much about their wedding plans. However, fans can almost certainly expect many Dancing With The Stars figures to attend. Britt Stewart recently served as a bridesmaid in Derek Hough’s wedding to Hayley Erbert.
