Though some were suspicious, Rachel Leviss’ affair with Tom Sandoval did not come out until March 2023. This was around six months after filming for Season 10 had ended. Yet, cameras picked right back up to capture the fallout of the whole situation. As it turned out, the affair started in August 2022 and was not a one-night thing as Sandoval portrayed it. Rather it had been an ongoing situation behind Sandoval’s longtime girlfriend and Leviss’ close friend, Ariana Madix’s back. It even happened in the home Madix and Sandoval shared.

Now, Rachel, formerly known as Raquel, has a podcast called Rachel Goes Rogue and she is spilling all of the tea. Recently, she detailed what happened during her time with Sandoval and how some of the elements were staged. According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Leviss is saying that Tom Schwartz, the best friend of Sandoval, knew all about the affair from the beginning. This is not that big of a surprise as he ended up spilling the beans that Sandoval and Leviss first hooked up in August. That was not received well by Sandoval at all as he wanted a different timeline.

“Schwartz knew since the very beginning. I got a phone call from [Sandoval] the morning after we hooked up the first time and my mind was racing, I was feeling so much shame about it. I finally got a phone call from Sandoval and he was at Schwartz’s apartment when he called me, and that was like a safe space for him.So Schwartz knew before we even had a conversation to talk about it and what the game plan was going to be.”

Of course, that begs the question of the kiss between Rachel Leviss and Tom Schwartz. This actually happened around the same time Sandoval and Leviss first got together. That was apparently all staged and a storyline for the show.

The Kiss Heard ‘Round WeHo

When Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz parted ways, she asked that he not be with anyone in their friend group. Then, he and Rachel Leviss took an interest in each other and kissed in Mexico at Scheana Shay’s wedding. Schwartz was not into the idea of kissing her but she says production liked it so they made it happen.

“It was definitely staged and definitely produced and I also feel like Schwartz had the go-ahead with Sandoval to kiss me. We like, went in for a kiss– obviously both of us knowing that I had a thing with Sandoval– and in that moment, this felt so produced … this is clearly a storyline.”

Rachel went on to say that producers went and gave her a glamping trip as a “reward” for what she did. Any time she was with Schwartz was only covering for her romantic situation with Sandoval. It was simply a deflection and the three of them went with it. She even shared she and SUR manager, Peter Madrigal went out off-camera but production made them re-enact that.

Do you believe the narrative that Rachel is pushing or is she just trying to make herself look like the victim? Let us know your thoughts and watch Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules premiering January 30th on Bravo.
