My 600-Lb Life fans adore Younan Nowzaradan, also known as Dr. Now on the TLC show, and this week, he treated them to some free advice about their health. Actually, he genuinely seems concerned for his patients on the show, but also for those who watch it.

Dr. Now Seems Grumpy But He’s Not

On My 600-Lb Life, the doctor takes no nonsense from his patients. Some TLC fans think that he’s too hard on them. However, he deals with life and death. If patients don’t follow his advice, he has little time for them. He has a special booklet with advice and menu plans and they usually work if patients follow it to the letter.

TLC fans like that Dr. Now doesn’t ignore them in-between seasons. Often, he shouts out his colleagues on his social media. Other times, he shares fun snippets of his own life at home. Recently, he shared about doing Cameos and the merchandise that My 600-Lb Life fans can buy. But in the new year, he turned his thoughts to medical advice.

The TLC doctor shared a reel on his Instagram on January 19, and he gave his many followers some sound advice about their health.

Now that the holidays are over, we need to concentrate on our health. We come into this world with nothing, and we leave this world with nothing. So, if we lose our money, we have not lost anything. But if we lose our health, we have lost everything. Let’s concentrate on our health and make sure we get our annual physical done. The best time to do it is to schedule it on the week of your birthday, so you remember each year to do that.

Dr. Now specifically reminded women to take care of their health after they hit the age of fifty. Many ailments can arise. Pap smears, colonoscopies, and mammograms seem to be vital. And, so does the expansion of the waistline. Many people who listened to the reel took to the comments to shout out the My 600-Lb Life star.
