Olivia Flowers Dishes On New Love, Not Looking Back
Southern Charm star Olivia Flowers is dishing on new love and how she is not looking back. The Season 9 reunion wrapped up on Thursday, January 18th. There was a lot of back and forth between the cast, especially Olivia and co-star, Taylor Ann Green. The two used to be close friends but that all collapsed. Now, Flowers is shedding some light on where she stands in her love life and past relationships. Read on for more details.
Olivia Flowers Dishes On New Love, Not Looking Back
It has been a rocky road for Olivia Flowers in Season 9 of Southern Charm. She started out being great friends with Taylor Ann Green and attempting to find love after her split from Austen Kroll. Then, rumors spread that Austen and Taylor had been spending the nights together. Of course, everyone started to wonder if they had hooked up but they both denied it. Then it came out they had kissed and Olivia was livid that her good friend would lie to her. They could never quite get beyond the betrayal and then Taylor was overheard saying that Austen and Olivia were never that serious.
Olivia and Taylor did end up bonding over the passing of their brothers but that all crashed down at the reunion. Only Taylor knew Olivia had hooked up with Thomas Ravenel and she dropped the bomb. This made Olivia beyond livid as she had told no one and now she is sharing where she and Taylor stand. Furthermore, she is dishing on finding new love away from the boys of her past. According to People, Olivia’s new boyfriend is named Alex and lives in Dallas.
She spilled the tea during the reunion: “I took Madison [LeCroy]’s advice on looking outside of Charleston.” More so, Alex has since met her ex, Austen Kroll on a vacation and it seemingly went okay.
“I told Alex, I was like, ‘Well, you know you don’t have to be like besties with him, just be cordial.’ And he’s like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, it’s fine.’ Then four hours later, I look and they’re driving up together in their golf cart.”
It looks like it went well for Austen and Alex but Olivia Flowers and Taylor Ann Green are a different story. They are pretty much over their friendship.
It’s Over
Though Taylor Ann Green acknowledged at BravoCon 2023 that Olivia Flowers was right there at her door after her brother passed, things seemed to have changed. Olivia shared that their friendship is now beyond repair, starting with the Austen kiss:
“I’ve been pulling away because we had had so many conversations that were going so wrong. She was lying to my face and I felt it. And Austen stepped in at a time where I was very vulnerable and broke in and I bonded with him and there were unresolved feelings there.”
Olivia added that Taylor did not think about her at all in Season 9. However, the Southern Charm reunion host did ask her what it would take to mend their friendship. She openly said that it was over and done at this point. They will move ahead but separately.
