Thomas Ravenel Claims Olivia Flowers ‘Used’ Him For Fame
Southern Charm alum Thomas Ravenel is claiming that Olivia Flowers “used” him for fame and to get on the hit Bravo show. The bomb was dropped that they had hooked up in part one of the Season 9 reunion. Yet, there are some details that T. Rav himself felt the need to clear up. Read on for more information about the whole situation.
Thomas Ravenel Claims Details The Night He Met Olivia
Olivia Flowers and Taylor Ann Green started Season 9 really strong as they were both single and having a great time. What Olivia did not know about her bestie was that she had kissed her ex-boyfriend, Austen Kroll. Both Austen and Taylor denied that anything had happened between the two but the truth came out. This ruined Taylor and Olivia’s friendship and it looked like they had reconnected after the season ended. Mainly because they both lost their brothers so that was a bridge in their friendship. Unfortunately, Taylor played dirty and that was a big problem. It had been mentioned in the Season 8 reunion how Olivia had hooked up with Thomas Ravenel.
She was very close to his ex, Kathryn Dennis so she denied it with so much conviction. Taylor Ann Green even stood by her but after, Olivia apparently confessed that she had back when she was twenty. After Olivia went after Taylor again at the Season 9 reunion, the truth came out. Olivia could tell it was coming and Taylor shared what had gone down. According to All About The Tea, Olivia explained it as such:
“I was fresh out of college, 20 years old, dumb drunken night, one time, had a hookup with T-Rav, and I wanted to take to my grave. Who wouldn’t?”
However, Thomas Ravenel felt the need to clear up what actually went down. He shared that Olivia Flowers was not twenty like she initially said but rather twenty-four and an aspiring actress.
“I was in Atlanta the weekend of January 14, 2017, for my nephew’s wedding. Olivia was living in Atlanta at the time pursuing her acting career. She was 24 years old (at the time) NOT 20, like she claimed on the reunion. I will say, she conducted herself as a classy lady that night. I would have never acknowledged having s*x with her until they brought me up at the reunion.”
The Aftermath
Based on the math, it does track with what Thomas Ravenel is saying and Olivia Flowers was not twenty when they met. Clearly, they both did want to keep this in the vault but Taylor Ann Green found the opportune time to spill the beans. Yet, it appears there had been chatter about the two of them for some time. Thomas did go on to say that they went out, and had a lot of fun bar hopping, he went back to her condo, and they never spoke again. Of course, he did conclude with this:
“She used me! Olivia was in Atlanta pursing an acting career and she wanted to get on that show (Southern Charm), that’s why she befriended me.”
Now, this slight toward Olivia could be due to the fact that Thomas is hurt by her. He claims that he gave a “moving speech” at her brother’s funeral. So, for her to say she would want to take what happened between them to her grave in clear disgust was both rude and hurtful.

she totaly used Thomas and what a drama queen she dumped Austin but has the nerve to be SO upset that they kissed and has been bashing Tyler ever since just for a storyline ,If they were really good friends this would not have been done but it does prove she wanted to be noticed so why not throw your best to the wolves.
Olivia absolutely lied about her age to appear more naive, so she can further justify her ridiculous fight with Taylor and Austen. She serves zero purpose on the show, so needs to at least seem interesting, using Thomas’s name to obtain an ounce of relevance.
Olivia is upset because she has been saying what a liar and crappie human Taylor is, but she is guilty of similar behavior. 1) Major lie on national tv – guilty as charged! 2) Even if Kathryn backs her up, she doesn’t really have a leg to stand on anymore because she clearly is very capable to be in Taylor’s shoes and proceed the exact same way.
So tired of her attitude… her constant need to act and feel like someone slighted her and she was just being her sweet self. She has a very ugly vengeful side. Plus, you can tell that she knows when the cameras are running.
