Why He Skipped Seeing His Kids During Australia Trip

Scheana and Brock previously blamed the coronavirus pandemic as a reason for not traveling to Australia. The travel bans have since been lifted, so why didn’t he see his kids during his recent trip?

He addressed the “very difficult” situation on Scheana’s podcast. “Based on my actions and my past and what my actions have caused for these kids — especially when they were younger — there was obviously trauma there that needed to be mended,” he said about his history with his children.

Brock shared that he’s taking his time with his kids, “Every time I go back home, the goal is to be able to have that door open there so when they want to heal that relationship with me, hopefully they can build that trust up.”

It sounded like it was their decision not to see their dad. Brock explained, “They are going from preschool to high school so there is a bunch of things changing in their life and I don’t want to be another one in there.”

The Vanderpump Rules star continued, “They have a loving dad, a loving half sister and a beautiful home. Right now, that is not their priority and I understand that.”

Us Weekly reported that Brock Davies broke down during the discussion about his children. “There is a side of me that just wants to fight hard. But then there is another side that reminds me this is a tough balancing act. Actions have consequences,” he said, referencing the domestic violence situation involving his ex-wife.
