Whitney Way Thore Gets A Bad Edit On ‘MBFFL’?
Whitney Way Thore has a lot of people who hate-watch My Big Fat Fabulous Life, but some fans wonder if she’s given a bad edit to keep the drama going on TLC. Or, do they just stab at her for whatever random reason? Certainly, she seems controversial, and she has some producer leverage. However, she’s not going to make the edits.
Whitney Way Thore Is Controversial But MBFFL Goes On
She’s a larger-than-average woman who studied theatre at college before becoming an English teacher in South Korea. However, it was her work as a producer back in Greensboro, NC that gave her a big break with Jared & Katie in the Morning. Out of that, she became popular with the video that went viral: A Fat Girl Dancing. Of course, TLC picked her up and fans recently watched Season 11.
With each season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life that arrives, TLC fans seem to think that Whitney Way Thore becomes more toxic. So, they slam her for being a mean and nasty person who treats her family and her friends badly. In fact, by the end of Season 11, they really hoped that Glenn would take off and go to live in Alabama with his newly-found extended family.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life Gives Whitney A Bad Edit?
There are rumors on social media that the production crew doesn’t get along with the sister of Hunter. So, an OP on Reddit wondered about whether they would deliberately make the MBFFL star look bad.
Do you think producers edit the show to make whitney look worse, better, or the same as she is in real life? i’ve heard some ppl say whitney doesn’t promote the show bc she may not have the best relationship with the footage team since they maybe edit her to look way worse. do yall think this is true? do you think they choose her worst moments? or maybe she’s way worse and we don’t even know. i feel like they hide so much stuff already (like her eating??)…Thoughts?

- I think they choose her worst moments and play into it.
- This. They edit it to make us see what they see.
- I think it’s pretty clear the producers don’t like her (hmmm, I wonder why THAT might be), from all the unflattering shots (zoning in on her butt, her bare legs, adding little “chomp” sounds when she’s eating -see the cake tasting scene-). They OFTEN set her up to look stupid, mean hypocritical…
- No I believe big whit is in charge. Can only imagine what TLC does edit. I think they pull the best of her which is scary to think what we’re not seeing…
