Michelle Young Reunites With Bachelorettes
Michelle Young was one of many Bachelor Nation alums attending Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s wedding. She used the Golden Wedding as an opportunity to make her official public debut with her new boyfriend.
After weeks of teasing fans with a soft launch, Michelle went Instagram official with her new beau in October.
The wedding also allowed Michelle a chance to catch up with some of the other Bachelorettes. She shared a selfie on her Instagram of Season 19 star Rachel Recchia and Kaitlyn Bristowe from Season 11.
Maybe she got Kaitlyn to spill the tea on her rumored romance with Zac Clark.
Or she gave them tips on how to meet someone when you’re least expecting it, which is how she met her boyfriend.
How She Met Her New Boyfriend
Michelle Young’s breakup with fiance Nayte Olukoya wasn’t easy on either of them. It seems to have taken her a long time to move on after their 2022 split. She didn’t date anyone publicly until 2023.
But now that her romance is in the open, she’s more than ready to talk about it. Michelle and Jack were guests on the Almost Famous podcast earlier this month and shared many details about their romance.
Like Michelle, Jack Leius is a Minnesota native. The former Bachelorette credits the “invisible string” theory for bringing them together.
“She has a good friend and her friend has a little brother, who I know, and her friend’s little brother posted Michelle in his [Instagram] Story and so I kinda just hit him up a couple times,” Jack explained about how he met Michelle.
At the same time this was happening, Michelle happened to have a conversation with her friend’s brother. She asked him to play matchmaker, though she didn’t expect to meet her ‘person’ in Minnesota.
Her friend’s brother showed her Jack’s Instagram profile. Michelle said on the podcast that she was immediately interested.
They met later that night, “spent the next four days together,” and the rest is history.
Michelle Young also believes that she may have unknowingly crossed paths with Jack at some point. “We go to all the same bars … the lake he grew up on, my family fishes [there] 24/7.”

Michelle shared a lot of photos from the wedding, including one with the groom.
