Ethan Plath Gets Smile Back, Happy Being Free
While 2023 was a difficult time for Welcome To Plathville stars, Olivia and Ethan Plath, this year promises new beginnings. During the past few months since Ethan and Olivia announced their separation, the two have made strides in taking on the new chapters of their lives separately. And now, Ethan is sharing how he is happy being free.
Ethan Plath Rings In The New Year
Although Welcome To Plathville‘s star Ethan Plath didn’t divulge his whereabouts for New Year’s Eve, fans got a glimpse of how he kicked off 2024. In his sister’s post, Moriah Plath shows Ethan, Isaac, and herself atop a mountain ready to shred some snow. With Ethan’s newfound freedoms, he seems to be making amends with his family. Although he and Moriah had a falling out, the end of Season 5 showed they were finally talking about the issues that arose between Ethan, Olivia, and Moriah.
2023 Took Its Toll
While Olivia and Ethan Plath were shown on Welcome To Plathville as a young couple that was struggling early on, they also worked on many areas of their marriage. Although they went through couples counseling and had a separation during the show, they never quite got past some of the core issues. Unfortunately, they seemingly spoke different languages in the relationship. Additionally, they were extremely young when they entered marriage and both had strict upbrings. When all was said and done, the two couldn’t compromise on their views of religion and politics. The issue truly came to a head when they began considering how they would raise children knowing there was such a large divide in these areas.

Ethan Plath Regains His Smile
Seemingly, Ethan Plath now is trying to get back to the things that make him the happiest. Not only has he been reconvening with other Plath family members, but he is grounding himself in the work he loves most. While he realigns, he is working on cars and helping his friends. But now, Ethan talks about other things that help him find his happiness again. In early December, he posted a smiling photo exploring some of his favorite things: history and cars. In an Instagram post, he says, “I went to The Henry Ford Museum in Detroit a few weeks ago and that made me smile! I enjoyed every moment of it! The Duesenberg was my favorite ❤️ I can only hope to own one some day!”

Ethan Plath Is Finding Ways To Enjoy His Freedom
Likewise, Welcome To Plathville‘s Ethan Plath is showing the world his way to freedom. In his Instagram Stories, he adds the text: “I can’t wait for spring so I can hit the road again! I always feel so free!!” Then the photo shows him next to his black motorcycle. He is smiling and eager to get started. Although it has been difficult for Ethan, he is traveling through the new season without Olivia and finding ways to be happy in the midst of the relationship ending. Both Olivia and Ethan seem to be going through personal growth and trying to move forward from their marriage collapse.
