But despite the privacy, the Counting On alum still tries her best to give updates about Sam, Israel, and Frederick. Some of her IG posts show their swimming lessons and other activities. She also likes to share news about the achievements Sam and Israel have achieved in their swimming school. Jill also took to social media in December 2023 to share a beautiful photo of Derick watching a movie with his sons.
Fans Call Out Amy For Disrespecting Jill & Her Kids
Some Redditors are calling out Amy for blatantly disrespecting Jill and her kids in her recent IG Stories. The Counting On alum decided to post photos of Jill’s boys, almost showing their faces. According to the poster, Amy is clearly aware of her cousin’s desire to keep things private about her kids. But she still proceeds to post such things. The Reddit poster decided not to post the IG Stories for the sake of the kids’ privacy. Here are some of the comments Amy received.
- “Jill is too much of a people please to stop this but I wonder how long before Derrick puts a stop to this and Famy makes a production over it?” one person said.
- “I really hope he tells Amy to back off and stop putting their kids online, even if he has to be a bit of a jerk in order to make her stop. They’ve been pretty clear that they don’t want the kids plastered all over the internet, and for good reason,” another commenter added.

Amy has yet to share her comments following her controversial post about Jill’s kids. However, the Counting On alum previously took to Instagram to share a shady quote about unhealthy families. “If you don’t come from a healthy family, make sure a healthy family comes from you,” she said. Her message comes amid the controversies that the Duggar family has been facing in recent years following the conviction of Josh and the release of a docuseries against their church, the IBLP.
Amy Duggar didn’t participate in the Duggar family’s Christmas party last year. It also appears that she hasn’t been in touch with the Duggars for quite some time. Meanwhile, Jill surprised many with her unexpected appearance at the Duggar family’s Christmas party last year.
