Kody Brown Can’t Be Shut Down By Robyn, Keeps Talking About Christine’s Wedding
Kody Brown speaks his mind in a sneak peek for the upcoming Sister Wives Wedding Special for Christine Brown and David Woolley. While talking about the event, Kody veers into territory that makes Robyn uncomfortable. Furthermore, she attempts to steer him in a direction but he is not willing to be led.
Sneaking A Peak At The Sister Wives‘ Wedding Special
An exclusive sneak peek shows Christine Brown getting ready for her wedding, while her daughters encircle her. The clip brings all the feelings by showing the sentimental closeness between Christine, Aspyn, Mykelti, and Ysabel. But now, another teaser has come out that shows Robyn and Kody Brown reacting to the nuptials.
Kody Brown Discusses Christine Brown’s Marriage
In the ET Sister Wives exclusive, Kody Brown admits, “I knew David and Christine were going to get married because I had met David.” He then confesses, “I saw a wedding announcement at my sister’s house.” And seemingly it offends him but he says, “It was kind of curious to me that some of my family had been invited to the wedding.”
Then he continues, “I’m really fine. I’m resolved with it. Our relationship ended, she made the accusation that I had…” Then Kody looks at Robyn knowing he has entered an area she doesn’t want. But in his brief pause to check in with her, Robyn cuts him off and interprets where he is going with the conversation. Then she leads him, in a disingenuous, almost condescending way, saying, “Aren’t we just so happy for them? We’re just so happy for them, right? That’s what we want.” But the interaction awkwardly masked the truth that Kody normally comes unhinged when talking about Christine.
Kody Brown Pushes On
Following the strange interaction, Kody Brown, who acts badgered by Robyn’s attempt, plows on. He says, “I’m just telling my story!” Then he relays, “Christine said to our children, ‘Dad has his soulmate. I’m going to go look for mine.’ And so she says she’s found her soulmate, and so I’m happy for her for that fact.” And to Robyn’s relief, he didn’t go on a tirade. But he did address the tricky situation. Jokingly, he says in an innocent tone, “Just because I’ve been angry for them for three years doesn’t mean I can’t be happy for them.”
Robyn Brown Hesitantly Addresses The Situation
Unquestionably, as the Sister Wives clip continues, Robyn adds to Kody Brown’s statements hesitantly. With the uncomfortable situation of discussing a former sister wife’s new marriage, and a huge possibility of triggering her current husband, Kody, Robyn treads lightly. However, reluctantly she says, “I hope that Christine and David can be happy. That’s all I’m going to say.”
Additionally, Christine Brown and David Woolley’s Wedding Special is just around the corner. It will air as a two-part special. Sister Wives: Wedding Special Part One will air on January 7, followed by Part Two on January 14.
