‘DWTS’ Jana Kramer Addresses Affair With Gleb Savchenko Rumors
Did singer Jana Kramer have a torrid affair with Gleb Savchenko during their Dancing With The Stars partnership?
That’s a rumor that’s persisted for several years. But is there any truth to it?
At the time of filming, Jana Kramer had just separated from her then-husband and Gleb Savchenko was still married. Any romantic relationship would have been extremely taboo, but that didn’t stop fans from talking.

Was Jana Krama actually having an affair with her dance partner?
Showmances on Dancing With The Stars are definitely nothing new. But sometimes, there is actually a grain of truth to the rumors. After all, pro dancer Britt Stewart and her Season 31 partner Daniel Durant just got engaged.
But what about Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko?
The pair competed on DWTS Season 23 and finished in fourth place out of fourteen couples. They had incredible chemistry on the dance floor, which led many fans to believe the two were having an affair.
Gleb previously denied the rumors in an interview. But if it were up to Jana, she would like to have an entirely different experience. Contrary to popular belief, it appears that an affair never happened at all.
“I wish I could go back now in a totally healthier mind frame and do it again,” Jana shared while appearing on Cheryl Burke’s podcast. But if she could choose a new partner, she totally would. According to the One Tree Hill actress, she and Gleb really didn’t connect as much as viewers thought they did.
“Gleb’s training just wasn’t for me at the time,” she continued, adding that she also had the chance to work with Artem Chigvintsev on the show. “I had done just like a practice with Artem and I was like ‘Wow I enjoy this so much more. The way that he was able to communicate and lead and really just explain it to me.”
But even so, it doesn’t seem like there’s bad blood between Jana and Gleb.
“He’s great and he’s lovely and all, but if I could have handpicked it would have been Artem for sure,” she said.
Not everyone is buying the OTH star’s story
Though Jana Kramer claims the pair weren’t friendly at all on DWTS, fans think they have reason to believe otherwise. In 2022, Us Weekly even reported on the scandal.
At the time Us Weekly wrote, “Kramer confessed in the former couple’s 2020 book, The Good Fight, that she had some ‘flings and flirts’ amid their split, writing, ‘I never truly thought I did anything wrong. Correction. I knew it was wrong … I justified my actions in my mind just as I suppose Mike had done all along too.’”
At the end of the day, perhaps Gleb and Jana will be the only ones who know the whole story.
