‘DWTS’ Britt Stewart & Daniel Durant Share Engagement
Dancing With The Stars pro Britt Stewart is engaged!
The dancer met her fiance actor Daniel N. Durant on the set of DWTS last season when they were paired together. They finished in fifth place out of 15 couples, but won many fans over the course of the competition. Viewers thought they had electrifying chemistry on the dance floor.
And apparently, it wasn’t all just for the show.
Fans expressed excitement when Britt and Daniel announced they were dating shortly after the season wrapped up. Now, the pair are happily engaged!

Britt Stewart and Daniel Durant prepare for “forever”
Daniel N. Durant is a deaf actor best known for his work in the film, CODA. He really hit it off with his dance partner Britt Stewart and now the rest is history.
Daniel and Britt shared an Instagram post confirming their engagement. Britt simply captioned the post, “Forever!!”

Several of their fans, family members, and even Dancing With The Stars colleagues shared their congratulations in the comments.

The happy couple shares details on the proposal
PEOPLE caught up with the couple to get the scoop on their engagement. Daniel proposed to Britt while they were enjoying a hike with their families on Christmas Day. The families took turns sharing what they felt grateful for and their goals for the new year.
Daniel opted to go last and spoke about the future he saw with Britt. He then pulled out an engagement ring and asked for her hand in marriage.
“I was the last one — and I started talking about the year, about us meeting and everything that happens in life. I just feel like there’s balance. She sees me. She knows my culture, my language, and understands everything about me,” the actor told PEOPLE.
“We were both emotional, overwhelmed with joy and at peace knowing that this would eventually be part of our story,” Britt added. “It felt like magic, but at the same time, it felt right and normal.”
They certainly wouldn’t be the first Dancing With The Stars couple to find love in the ballroom. Now, fans are excited to learn more about their wedding plans. Britt is about to go on tour with the rest of the pro dancers, so a wedding will probably be a while off.
