Gerry Turner made ABC fans fiercely angry when he ditech his runner-up. After all, he told her that they had a future together. She believed him, so her pain and humiliation were evident when he sent her home. Notably, so was her anger and she fumed about how he treated her. So, did her family who felt that he was more than a scoundrel.
Many ABC fans believed that the Golden Wedding would go ahead without Leslie Fhima in attendance After all, she slammed him for having no integrity. Actually, some people believe that she dodged a bullet with Theresa Nist’s fiance. If it were them, wild horses wouldn’t drag them to the ceremony which takes place on television on Thursday.

Gerry Turner’s Golden Wedding Off The Must-Do List?
The reason why Gerry’s runner-up might not attend the wedding is simply because she is recovering from a serious surgery. At the end of 2023, she told her followers that she needed bowel blockage surgery. According to Healthline:
People who require emergency bowel obstruction surgery tend to have a relatively high chance of death or complications either during surgery or shortly after. About 5% to 30% of people with small intestinal obstruction die within 30 days
Leslie Fhima isn’t the first celebrity to endure the pain of a bowel blockage. Remember, Lisa Marie Presley? She passed away after a cardiac arrest but later, it was discovered she had a blocked bowel at the time, per BBC.

Totally understand other contestants going since they were eliminated sooner or didn’t have as big of a connection, but Leslie made it all the way to the end and legit thought she was the one.
