Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist are making their rounds doing interviews before their big wedding event next week. They recently appeared on Live with Kelly and Mark where Kelly Ripa asked Gerry about the now-infamous pause when he was about to propose to Theresa. Gerry Turner reveals shocking truths about Golden Bachelor
Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner shared some inside information with Kelly Ripa during his recent appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark. Kelly asked him about that long pause that had everyone holding their breath including Theresa Nist.
The moment that Kelly is talking about is when Gerry is about to propose and he makes a long pause before finishing his sentiment leading Theresa to believe she is not the winner.
He said, “You’re not the right person for me to live with.” He then took a long pause, convincing Theresa that she didn’t win his heart. Then, he continued, “You’re the person I can’t live without.”
Kelly showed the audience the clip and then said, “We just saw the clip of the moment and Theresa you were all of us. I was like, ‘Oh this is such a weird clip for us to use.’ We all thought you were getting the brush off.”
The host went on to say, “Gerry, do the producers force you to do that? They make you drag it on like that and keep us all in suspense.”
Gerry Turner shocked everyone with his honesty. He said, “They suggested it would be really great TV. They didn’t realize it would be horrible to Theresa.”
Theresa chimed in at that point and said it was really mean.
Their plans for the future
Kelly also asked Gerry and Theresa how things are going as they head closer to their wedding day. Both Gerry and Theresa said that things are really, really good. Things are awesome.
The couple also discussed some future plans. Originally they discussed making a move to South Carolina. However, now, Gerry revealed that since he has now visited New Jersey a few times he is considering there as an option for them to settle down.
Theresa currently lives in New Jersey so for her it would be great. Since Kelly Ripa is from there originally she also put in her vote for a move to New Jersey.

I feel starting golden from 55-60 will producr e serious couples ,& better decision makers. Bachelor enterprise is in serious jeopardy.
The franchise could create a call in space for us to call in with fast quips to be edited in before the episode airs.
Think it would create new and increased interest.
