Gerry Turner, Theresa Nist Changing Moving Plans?
Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist are gearing up for their big wedding event on ABC on January 4. Ahead of the wedding, they have been asked numerous times where they think they will live as a married couple. Theresa lives in New Jersey while Gerry has been living at his lake house in Indiana. The couple had shared one location that they were leaning toward moving to and now it seems that perhaps they have changed their minds. What are they saying now? Keep reading to find out more.
Have Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist changed their moving plans?
Golden Bachelor GerryTurner and Theresa Nist have been working on figuring out where they will live after their big wedding in early January. The couple was leaning toward moving to Charleston, South Carolina. Theresa’s son lives there and Gerry has often talked about possibly giving the area a chance in the past. So, they were thinking it may be the perfect spot to start their married lives together.
However, Gerry and Theresa both appeared on Live with Kelly and Mark where they revealed that their plans might be changing. They were pretty set on moving to Charleston. However, now, Gerry said that after visiting New Jersey a few times, he is beginning to think that might be a good spot for them to settle down.
He noted it’s beautiful and close to the ocean which is a huge selling point for him. Kelly Ripa said she is voting for the New Jersey area because she is originally from there. She also noted they have the best blueberries in the world.
Theresa commented that Gerry loves blueberries and he pointed out that blueberry donuts are amazing.
So the couple is not 100% on where they will live after they are husband and wife. They will explore both areas and then make their decision.
Mark Consuelos played a little joke on the soon-to-be-married couple
While on the show, Kelly pointed out to Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist that her husband Mark Consuelos is an ordained minister. He said he could marry them right then.
Kelly handed her a bouquet of flowers and handed Gerry a pillow with rings on it. Mark began reading vows for them and they both agreed to love one another forever.
He started to say they were pronounced husband and wife when Theresa said wait we’re not ready yet.
Mark went on to tell them to lick their new ring pops and said the unofficial wedding was only a rehearsal to prepare for the big day.
