Actual Farmers Say ‘FWAW’ Gives Them Bad Name
There are a lot of mixed opinions when it comes to Season 3 of Farmer Wants a Wife. Some have argued that the farmers or at least most of them, are not legit. In fact, some real farmers are saying that the show is giving them all a bad name. The four farmers this season are John Sansone, Jay Woods, Colton Hendricks, and Matt Warren. Farmers Think Farmer Wants A Wife Painting Wrong Picture
Season 3 of Farmer Wants a Wife has a few controversial farmers looking for love on the show. A few of the farmers appear not to be legit. John Sansone, for one, is currently living in his parents’ home and attending law school.
After viewing past photos of him and seeing him on the farm, many think he doesn’t really know much about farming. Some also feel this way about Matt Warren. Matt works on his brother-in-law’s farm in California. One fan on social media alleged that he is nothing more than a hired hand and not a real farmer.
A fan who says they are a real farmer say there is no time to stop and film a television show. They also said the men being portrayed as farmers on FWAW are making the real farmers look bad. This person went on to say that even the farmers who have real farms make them question if they know what they are doing.

While a large number of fans do not think that the farmers are legit on Farmer Wants a Wife, there are some who love the show. One fan defended Matt and said there is no reason he shouldn’t be considered a real farmer just because he is not the one who owns the land.
Another fan noted that while there may be a few inaccuracies it is their guilty pleasure to watch. Someone else pointed out that the show is heavily edited and is also for entertainment. They said they don’t understand how 2 out of 4 farmers being legit ruins the entire season.
The fan went on to defend FWAW and say it’s a television show and not affecting how farmers are viewed across the country.
