Newly Engaged Golden Bachelor Couple Spend Holidays Apart
Shortly after TV audiences watched Gerry Turner propose to Theresa Nist, the couple revealed plans to marry less than a month later. ABC will give Bachelor Nation fans a front-row seat during next month’s Golden Wedding.
Gerry Turner, 72, explained that they didn’t want to wait too long to marry at their ages. However, it seems they’re still maneuvering how to bring their respective families together.
Gerry and Theresa spent the holidays separately, spending Christmas Day thousands of miles apart instead of with their blended families.
Theresa did post on Instagram to assure fans that the couple will reunite soon. They appeared on Live With Kelly & Mark the day after Christmas for a wedding practice run.

Gerry and Theresa may have a bigger problem coming between them than distance. The two previously revealed plans to move to Charleston, South Carolina, after their wedding.
That would solve the distance issue, so what else is coming between them? According to insiders, the two are fighting over the details of a prenup.
Gerry and Theresa both have a good chunk of wealth to their names. But after a bombshell report questioning Gerry Turner’s career claims, is Theresa Nist nervous about letting him have access to her money?
Someone close to the couple made the shocking claim to OK! magazine that the Golden couple are “bickering” over the prenup.

According to the insider, Gerry doesn’t want one at all, but Theresa insists. Bachelor Nation fans have been urging her to get one.
In fact, the spy claims that Gerry is “offended” about even being asked to sign a prenup.

I told my daughter in the episode where Gerry implied to the other lady he would select her that the minute Theresa revealed to Gerry that she was a stockbroker, for lack of another word, Gerry changed his mind and it was Theresa from that point on.
