Liz Johnston & Amber Put Baby Leighton In Danger?
Elizabeth “Liz” Johnston welcomed her baby, Leighton Drew Bolden in November and fans instantly fell in love with the new addition to the 7 Little Johnstons‘ family. Of course, the new mom is under scrutiny now, as fans wait to slam her for putting her child in danger. Did she and her mom, Amber Johnston do something that might endanger the baby? Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Johnston Gets Fans Worried About Her Baby
Recently, Leighton turned six weeks old and to honor the occasion, Amber posted some photos of the cute kid. TLC fans needn’t worry that this child’s face will be hidden on social media. Already, plenty of shots arrived. And, fans will likely see this child on camera as long as the 7 Little Johnstons show lasts. Leighont’s very cute, but critics watch for her mom to make a mistake.
TLC fans already worry about Liz Johnston’s baby. When fans saw photos of a nurse feeding the baby milk with a spoon, they feared something was up. However, it turned out that sometimes, nurses will do that in the NICU if the mom isn’t producing enough colostrum. This week, some TLC viewers believe they caught the reality TV stars doing something alarming with Leighton.
Amber Johnston & Elizabeth Endanger Leighton?
Emma, Anna, their sister, and their mom took Leighton with them when they went to see the Christmas lights at the Callaway Resort and Gardens in Georgia. On Reddit, people were worried when they saw Liz holding the baby instead of putting it in a car seat. people feared the child was in danger because the baby was not in a car seat. Meanwhile, others disagreed.
Liz Johnston found some critics after an OP questioned the lack of a car seat:
No car seat?! Did they take the baby out of the car seat just for a photo op? I hope there’s a car seat back there…
Some unhappy 7 Little Johnstons‘fans argued that the family set a bad example:
- Whether the line is “slow moving and isolated” ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN it’s not worth the risk for me the baby needs to be In a car seat.
- I don’t care if they are “driving slow,” “off of the main road,” or “just taking her out for a feeding.” If you have a platform as big as they do, you DO NOT post a photo of newborn in a car not in a carseat. Period.
Counter Arguments In Favor Of Liz Johnston
Other people thought that Liz and Amber Johnston did nothing wrong:
- Come on people. 🙄 They’re probably parked. Liz may have even needed to feed her. Use your brains. They are clearly not moving, as the driver of the car appears to be taking the photo. I cannot imagine Sargent Amber allowing that baby to be out of a carseat in a moving car. Amber is controlling but she’s not stupid. If anything, she is overprotective.
- You sit and wait for at least 30 minutes before the show starts and you’re parked. This was probably when they were parked.
- This picture has no context whatsoever to point fingers at whoever. I’m not a big fan of Amber or Liz but come on. 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
