Teen Mom star Leah Messer was threatened by her ex, Jeremy Calvert, and now she has filed a protective order against him. Some of what transpired to lead to this has already come out. Now, more of the story has emerged and it is truly terrifying. Read on for more details.

Leah Messer ‘Threatened’ By Ex, Files Protective Order

It has been many years since Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert parted ways and divorced. Though they have a daughter together, she moved on with her life. She got engaged to Jaylan Mobley and even though that did not last, she accomplished her dream of finishing real estate school. More so, Leah became a licensed realtor and is currently looking for a new broker to work with. At the same time, she is also working as a server at a restaurant. Unfortunately, Jeremy decided to bother his ex-wife at work one night and it went beyond just a visit, according to In Touch Weekly.

It all happened in November when Calvert came into Messer’s workplace. An insider spoke to The Ashley Reality Roundup and had this to say:

“He stormed in and was intimidating Leah. He had a group of guys with him, as well as his girlfriend, backing him up. The big group made a huge commotion inside the restaurant.”

It did not apparently get physical but the mother of three was “threatened.” No one was arrested for the incident but Leah did end up filing a domestic protective order.

Because the two had been married prior, the Teen Mom regular was able to file for the order as she believed she was at risk. Jeremy was Leah Messer’s second husband as she wed Corey Simms first. The two had twin girls when Leah was just a teenager and tried to make it work for them. Unfortunately, she still had feelings for her high school love and they parted ways. She then fell for Jeremy and they welcomed another little girl. This marriage ended in divorce, as well.

A Strong Mother

Leah Messer has proven that she is a strong mother, regardless of her circumstances. She has not been shy about her past drug addiction but she has come out much stronger. One of her twins has muscular dystrophy but she has been there every step of the way. Furthermore, Leah has seen her children’s accomplishments and has been immensely proud. Now, she is an agent and a server, showing her kids that anything is possible. Sadly, this had to happen but she is protecting herself the best she can.
