‘The View’ Whoopi Goldberg Bails After Stealing From Famous Star
On The View Monday, Whoopi Goldberg blindsided the co-hosts and an A-lister guest during the View Your Deal segment. As the discussion was happening, Whoopi performed a fast grab-and-go move that startled the guest and sent the audience into a roar of laughter before she made an unplanned exit.
Silliness Is In The Air
On Monday, December 4, no one knows if it was the weather or the holidays that got Whoopi Goldberg’s spirits up, but she was being extra ornery during The View. In the Hot Topic segment, for no apparent reason, Whoopi tried on a British accent to deliver subjects. Ana Navarro calls her out saying, “Why are we getting Queen Elizabeth in this?” Then in response, Goldberg hits back, “Because that’s where I’m at.” And, the silliness was contagious because Ana was also on blast by the guest star for interjecting multiple sexual innuendos during the promotion of her new movie Leave the World Behind.
Whoopi Goldberg Is Feeling Fiesty!
As the show went on, The View moderator, Whoopi Goldberg’s playfulness added surprise to the guest’s interactions. During The View‘s – View Your Deal section of the show, Whoopi shocks everyone with a hasty ransack on the show’s guest of honor. Sara Haines and Sunny Hostin joined Adam Glassman, Oprah Daily’s creative director, in displaying what he considers the “best” beauty products. When they reached one product, the guest star, Julia Roberts described her favorite hair product.
Whoopi Goldberg Steals The Spotlight
But Julia Robert’s presentation was disrupted by a sneak attack from Whoopi Goldberg. At the time, Julia was holding up a bottle and said, “This is my favorite one.” Then, referring to the conditioner she adds, “It’s just a little wow in a can.” With that, Whoopi was sold! Immediately, she stormed the stage, taking Julia by surprise and snatching the product directly out of her hand. Retorting, Glassman said as she appeared out of nowhere, “Whoopi’s here!”
Seemingly giving Julia whiplash, Whoopi Goldberg pulls the favored product from her and runs off disappearing backstage. Undeniably, this stuns Julia at the moment but quickly she regroups when she pieces together what is happening. After this, the co-hosts as well as Julia Roberts, and the entire audience erupt into laughter at the comedic scene.
