How Did Dancing Cameo Happen In Hallmark’s ‘A Merry Scottish Christmas’?
Hallmark fans who tuned in to the Countdown To Christmas movie A Merry Scottish Christmas expected a big reunion. Party Of Five stars Lacey Chabert and Scott Wolf reunited as brother and sister in this new Christmas movie.
However, there was another cameo that happened that completely took Christmas movie fans by surprise! How did this happen?

There Was A Surprise Dancing Cameo In A Merry Scottish Christmas?
In the recently aired Hallmark Christmas movie, A Merry Scottish Christmas, Lacey Chabert, and Scott Wolf played brother and sister Lindsay and Brad, who are surprised to learn that their mother is a Scottish Duchess. But, that is not the only surprise in this movie.
When the two characters are invited to a party, they meet the local dance champion, Thomas. He is portrayed by none other than Christmas Waltz star Will Kemp! He is dressed in a crisp white shirt with a traditional style kilt. Now, Lacey and Will have some fun.

Her character says, “I’m sorry, do I know you? Have we met before?” He insists that they have not. But, it is not much longer before the two start dancing. But, she warns him, “I only know how to dance the waltz or the tango,” referring to their hit Christmas movie, as well as their recent mystery, The Dancing Detective.”
Soon, he was doing a Highland dance around a beaming Lacey. The two ended it with a few twirls and a win.
Now the question is how did Will wind up in a cameo in a movie set in Eastern Scotland?

How Did Dancing Cameo Happen In Hallmark’s A Merry Scottish Christmas?
Hallmark has been including some fantastic cameos this season. However, this usually happens when two movies are filming at the same time and a star from one will visit the other set. So, it did not seem likely that A Merry Scottish Christmas would have a cameo as this is the only Scottish movie this season. But, Lacey Chabert had other ideas.

Speaking to The Messenger, she revealed how she came up with the idea to bring Will Kemp to the set. “We were doing the dance scene and we were talking about how Hallmark has been doing a lot of cameos recently. So I said, ‘Oh my gosh, we have to call Will!'”
I was so excited that he was game to come along and hang out with us and be part of the scene. We added some dialogue to be a little nod to Dancing Detective and Christmas Waltz. It was so much fun!
What about Scott Wolf? He was “game for anything.” “Hopefully, we didn’t look too foolish next to the actual professional dancers, but that was really great fun.”
