Kim Zolciak is spilling the tea as to why she is actively selling everything in her closet and many of her possessions. It was believed that she was doing this in order to pay off her excessive familial debts. Yet, is that actually the reason? Read on to see what Kim had to say about it all.
Kim Zolciak Spills Tea On Selling Her Closet
Over the last several months, Kim Zolciak has found herself and her family in immense financial hot water. Starting last year, their Georgia mansion was nearly foreclosed on and it happened again in early 2023. More so, the home was almost put on the auction block but she and her husband, Kroy Biermann were able to halt that. Furthermore, they owe over one million dollars to the IRS so it is quite a struggle. Then, the two filed for divorce from one another and Kim’s gambling was brought up. She soon started to sell a lot of her personal items on her site, The Biermann’s Closet.
This included wigs and luxurious purchases from her and her daughter’s closets. Additionally, she would take to Instagram to sell some of her plush items. At one point, Kroy maintained that he was struggling to keep up with the mortgage on their home. However, he added he had not seen a penny from Kim’s personal sales. So, what is the real reason she was selling all of her items if not to help pay off her debt? According to Page Six, she took to her social media to answer fan questions.
One asked if the reason she was parting with all of these items was due to the fact that she was essentially broke. Kim Zolciak maintained she was doing it because she had: “a ton of stuff I bought over the years so selling what I don’t want. That’s all ❤️.” This is understandably hard to believe as they have finally listed their Georgia home. Plus, Kroy has lost his prized cars in this whole mess.
Trying Again?
Despite all of the financial strain and combative accusations, it seems that Kim Zolciak’s marriage may be okay. After they filed for the first time this year, they ended up reconciling for a very short period of time. They then filed again which was not much of a surprise to anyone. However, Kroy Biermann accompanied her to her lady part rejuvenation so he could take care of her. Then, they celebrated what would have been their twelve-year wedding anniversary and looked very happy. So, maybe things are taking a turn.
