‘RHOA’ Has Kim Zolciak Biermann Saved Her Marriage?
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star made a surprising move on social media indicating that her marriage with Kroy Biermann is not over yet.
Even when the cameras have stopped rolling, the drama is always in stock for Kim Zolciak Biermann. This year has been the ultimate test for what used to be her rock-solid marriage. On April 30, the couple looked to be heading for a complete split. That’s the date that the couple listed as their official separation date in their first divorce filing of 2023. After over 11 years of marriage, the couple no longer saw a romantic future together.
Zolciak Biermann stated in her divorce filing that her marriage was “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.” She sought primary physical custody of their children and joint legal custody. She also asked for spousal support and the restoration of her maiden name at the time.
Time Heals All Wounds (For A While)
However, in a shocking twist to the Biermann’s marriage mystery, Zolciak Biermann changed her mind just a few weeks after her divorce filing. The former RHOA star called off the divorce and was granted a “dismissal without prejudice of answer and counterclaim” by the Superior Court of Fulton County in Georgia. While filing “without prejudice,” Zolciak Biermann’s claim against her husband was stopped immediately. Zolciak Biermann still retained the right to refile her claim at a future date.
While posting to Instagram on June 23, Biermann took the time to reflect on his marriage strife. “I came across a really cool part of the book that I was reading today. And it suggested that I praise myself according to several specific character traits,” he said in a short video.

Biermann then took to his own comments sections to show appreciation for the support he and his family had received. “I am so grateful for the support and positivity. I wish I could reply to ALL of you personally! Please know that I see EVERYONES comments and I appreciate them so very much!! Love you all!!” he wrote.
Despite the apparent turnaround in their marriage, the optimism was short-lived. In a shocking move, Biermann filed for divorce on August 24. The former NFL player stated that their marriage was “irretrievably broken.” Even with the relationship that was ‘beyond repair,” Zolciak Bierman claimed that they still maintained a sexual relationship.
A Fumble Recovery For Their Marriage?
In yet another surprising revelation, the on-again, off-again couple have appeared to make another reversal. On November 12, Zolciak Biermann and Biermann were spotted dining together on the date of the 12-year wedding anniversary. The couple enjoyed a nice dinner at an Italian restaurant then headed to a Morgan Wallen show together. While posting to her Instagram story, Zolciak Biermann and her soon-to-be ex-husband appeared to be all smiles.
It seems like that romantic night was exactly what the couple needed to resolve their issues. On November 13, Kim has once again decided to include her husband’s last name in her Instagram handle.
The Bravo star previously removed her married surname earlier this year. She used @kimzolciak after dropping Biermann following her husband’s divorce filing in August. In what appears to signal the couple’s pathway to reconciliation, Zolciak Biermann’s Instagram handle is now @kimzbiermann.
